You may dismiss the odd symptom because you might not feel as though it requires immediate medical attention. This is understandable, but sometimes there may be a more serious underlying cause that you need to get treated as soon as possible.
Major Toothache
If you have sensitive teeth then this is one thing, but if you find that you have major toothache on a regular basis then you shouldn’t ignore it. If you have very painful toothache, then this could indicate that the tooth’s nerves are fully exposed but if you deal with the issue soon enough then you may be able to get away with having a simple filling. Dental oral surgery is always better off done sooner rather than later because if you don’t then you may end up having to get a much bigger procedure done and this could cause you major problems.
Bloated Stomach
It’s really not uncommon to feel bloated right after you have a big meal. If you have symptoms on a daily basis on the other hand, then you need to get checked out. There could be a more serious underlying cause and in some instances, you may require some degree of treatment. Your GP will be able to help you with just about anything you need here, not to mention that they will also be able to investigate other symptoms that you might not be fully aware of yet.
Chest Pain
It can be very easy to dismiss any kind of chest pain as heartburn or even indigestion. For this reason, you need to be extra diligent when analysing your symptoms. If you experience any kind of severe pressure in your chest or if you experience abdominal pain, then this could be a sign of a heart attack. If you are ever unsure then it’s always worth seeking medical attention as this is the best way for you to get the peace of mind you need.
More Body Hair
It’s not uncommon for men to have a lot of body hair. If you’re a woman on the other hand then this may mean that you have a hormonal imbalance. It may be that you have polycystic ovary syndrome or even that you need further tests. If you’re not quite sure if you have PCOS then look out for irregular periods, long-term aches and pains, or even signs of infertility.
Unexplained Weight Loss
Sometimes you may view unintended weight loss as a bonus, and this is very understandable. You do however need to take note that sometimes, it could be a sign that something is wrong. If you haven’t made the effort to shift some weight, then you may need to pay a trip to the doctor. This could be a sign that you have diabetes or even that you are malnourished. If you are not sure if you are losing weight or not then keep track of how much you weigh and keep a diet journal too so that you can effectively monitor your symptoms.
